Mobile Quality Assurance Tester
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and administrate test projects. • Coach, mentor, and train junior members of the QA team. • Scope, report, and analyze risk. • Gather QA metrics to guide QA for future endeavors. • Write and/or update test plans and test cases; execute tests for mobile releases. • Test functionality for each release and communicate issues found to development team. • Identify bugs, prioritize and track issues, and report test results to project / product managers. • Identify problems in production environment and elevate issues as necessary. • Monitor releases as well as playing an active role in researching post-release issues. • Research production issues reported by groups from different areas of the company. Qualifications: • 5 – 7 years of testing experience. • 1 - 2 years of leading or managing projects. • Mobile testing experience preferred, which includes apps and websites. • Familiarity with iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows operating systems. • Knowledge of web services/API a plus. • Strong debugging and skills with eye for detail. • Experience working in Scrum / Agile sprint teams. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently or in a group setting. • Prior experience using HP Quality Center a plus. • Airline experience preferred, but not required.
